We are in a time of great change.  (I call this period the “great Earth Awakening,” lasting from about 2012-2036).  I am regularly asked about what the changes will be now that 2012 threshold has been crossed.  From a big picture, that’s a planetary and cosmic story.  The essential question usually is: what do these changes mean for my journey and my life?  That’s a wonderful answer to give — it is up to you!

Are you in or are you out?

One of my co-creators in Spirit has pithily summarized the choice at hand: Are you in or are you out?  Said another way, are you going to step over the threshold to receive a new future, or are you going to (inadvertently) re-create a replay from reaction or distant memory?

The experience of the planetary changes — 2012 and over the next decades — will be deeply individual, and rooted in the choice and alignments that each person and each soul makes.  From my perspective, it’s time to move attention from “out there” and redirect it within one’s own awareness and intentions.  Infinite pathways and vastly different realities can be created from where the individual puts their time, attention, thoughts, and energy.

It’s really that simple — realities are created from the flow of energy and awareness.  Focus on cataclysm, get cataclysm in your life.  Focus on creating abundance and joy, receive this through connecting to the Truth of who you are as empowered and whole Being.

But you are working with creation in a powerfully different way, as you step over the threshold of embracing the power, freedom, and heart guidance of your Soul.  You are going beyond what has been before.  In this lifetime or any other.

Are you creating or re-creating?

There is a distinct difference in the relationship to time, space, and energy when you decide to bring forth that which has never been before, rather than create from a platform of what has been, i.e. the past.  Much of what is called “creation” is more precisely re-creation — recycling ideas, awareness, intentions, and energies that have existed before into a new form, maybe with some tweaks.  This can be quite successful and fruitful when the context of creation is constant — that is, the space or vessel (e.g., planet, culture, economy, environment) that will receive the creation has not changed much from originating intention.  So, it is, in fact, quite feasible to re-create the past “successfully.”  Though defining that “success” is a bit tricky — it depends on the goals (conscious and unconscious) that were part of the originating intention.  Success from one perspective is failure in another, and vice versa.

The deck is considerably re-shuffled, however, when there is change.  (See above — this is a time of great change!) At one level, this is obvious.  Wagons are poorly competing with cars nowadays.  However, there are still considerable, relative “constants” at work in the economics of transportation.  What I mean by leading-edge creation is to bring forth ideas, energies, and expressions of those in a time and place in which there has been no comparable parallel or history.  You are on the frontier!

To be powerful and effective in the plane of leading-edge creation requires stepping beyond what has been.  To be fully present in the unfolding moment and release the expectations, plans, and recipes of the past.  In this way, everything is available.  Both in the present moment, and in the higher dimensions which focus energy before it comes into manifestation in the third dimensional physical plane.

Calling forth your future

There is a subtle, and sometimes not-so-subtle, choice at hand: will you be “pulled” forward by the potential of the future or cast a fishing line into the past with the “hope” you’ll get a good fish this time around? The future is beyond the horizon and holds immense potential.

So let me repeat the core message from the beginning: which personal (and planetary) future that will be experienced is determined by the alignments of your energy and intention.  What kind of vessels are the mind, heart, and body preparing to receive the flow of energy?  There are infinite worlds, lives, and experiences that can manifest.  Thought and reaction/response to perceptions are the creators, calling forth more awareness and experience from silent and still infinity. 

The tradeoff to receive vast (unlimited in many respects) potential is to work in uncertainty and without specifics of what and how creations will come forth.  The intentions must be open enough to receive the unknown and unprecedented, and also held clearly enough to bring forth energies truly in alignment with the desired future.  This a dance, a lightly held tension, of expansive, leading- edge creation.  You are challenged to maintain your focus at the same as receiving the vastness.  But what excitement and empowerment!
